Curiosity Rocks Addiction

What if change doesn't have to begin with forcing yourself to be different?

What if it begins by becoming curious about what is happening right now?

Curiosity Rocks Addiction explores awareness, curiosity, present-moment experience, and the possibilities that become available when we pause long enough to discover something new.

Let's Have Some Fun With Curiosity

I have been discovering ways that change can become easier.

Instead of struggling to force an answer, we can pause and become curious.

What if I don't already know?

That little opening can change everything.

Change Begins With Awareness

So much of what we think, feel, and do happens automatically. We may believe we are making a new choice when the mind is actually giving us an answer it learned from the past.

Most behavior starts with a prediction, not a choice.

Curiosity gives us a pause. In that pause we don't have to fight the old answer. We can simply notice it.

Then we can ask:

What else might be true?

We don't have to answer too quickly. We can enter curiosity, move into wonder, and allow the mind to open.

From an open mind, something new may become available.

Come Back to This Moment

What do I want to experience right now?

Perhaps your Present Moment Goal is simply:

I choose to be at ease.

Pause. Breathe. Relax. Notice what is happening in your body.

You don't have to solve everything in this moment. You only have to be here for it.

You Don't Have to Know Yet

“I don't know” can be the beginning of discovery.

When we stop demanding that the past provide today's answer, curiosity becomes possible.

And from curiosity comes wonder.

From wonder comes an open mind.

And an open mind is ready to receive.

What might be waiting to be discovered?
